Chief Experience Officer

Jason Schmitz is a seasoned executive with nearly three decades of experience in the pipeline and oil and gas industry. He began his career in 1996 as a pipeline surveyor before moving into project and survey management roles with Osmose Utilities Services and, later, Chesapeake Midstream/Access Midstream — now a Williams company — where he managed large-scale infrastructure programs, including the $1.3 billion Millennium Pipeline in upstate New York, and built the contractor standards and processes used across the organization's survey and mapping operations.Mr. Schmitz joined Highridge Consulting Services, an HR Group company, in November 2019 as Director of Special Projects. He now serves as Chief Experience Officer for The HR Group and President of MetriCorr US — the exclusive North and South American partner for MetriCorr ApS, a Danish corrosion-monitoring technology company — which launched in 2024. In this role, he leads MetriCorr US's expansion across the Americas, bringing remote monitoring solutions for pipelines and on-shore infrastructure to customers from Canada to Argentina, with a focus on strengthening regional support through localized expertise, growing awareness of MetriCorr's technologies across the energy and utility sectors, and driving innovation through close collaboration with MetriCorr's global development teams and regional customers.Mr. Schmitz earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Oklahoma State University in 2001, along with a certification in Geographic Information Systems. He lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and is recognized for combining hands-on operational expertise with strategic leadership to bring MetriCorr's corrosion-monitoring technology to infrastructure operators across the Americas.
